Just got my laptop up and running for barely a week here. After settling down for two months here in one of the most backwater states in Malaysia you'd think you'd seen everything - the locals are quite nice, the food surprising delectable to the common man's palate, and flies and diarrhea quite commonplace. Unfortunately, nightlife here means simply going out for a cuppa and some munchies, and the malls seem slightly less appealing considering there isn't even a single movie theater nor video arcade in sight.

First monthly exams are coming up in a few more weeks - tons of stuff to memorize, precious little time to do so and distractions aplenty to derail me (heck, writing this journal and Facebook-ing has already cost me time that I'd have to make up for post haste! ).

To all you Muslims out there - Malaysian or not - Happy Eid Rahmadan and Happy Fasting.
To all you Malaysians, Selamat Menyambut Bulan Merdeka.
To everybody else, well... just keep doing what you're doing right now.
If you aren't, DO SOMETHING RIGHT NOW!
And if you are too stupid to read this, go and KILL YOURSELF!!!
